MRT is currently looking for a Motivated, Dynamic and established senior sales representative to actively contribute to the success of our Logistics Department.

The ideal candidate will have a solid experience in a 3PL environment, along with a proven book of business and a strong customer following. Sales professionals must have demonstrated success, selling in a third-party (3PL) environment.

The selected candidate for our logistics brokerage division will join and be supported by an asset-based team of 135 employees, a fleet of 90 trucks and 185 trailers based in 10 municipalities in Quebec and Ontario.

The account manager will be expected to have experience in the following.

  • Generate sales leads by inside sales networking, cold-calling prospects and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy
  • Maintain relationships with existing clientele and build business
  • Ensure new customers and business accounts are properly handled
  • Responding to prospective customer inquiries in preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP-s) and requests for quotations (RFQ-s).
  • Having and maintaining carrier contacts and knowledge of operations is a strong asset
  • Candidates must have sales experience in a logistics business, be results oriented and highly organized, fluent in computer skills, a great ability to communicate and be bilingual in both official languages.
