Requested skills

MRT is currently looking for a motivated, dynamic and established senior sales representatives account manager to actively contribute to the success of our company.

The ideal candidates will have a solid experience in a 3PL environment, along with a proven book of business and a strong customer following. Sales professionals will have a network to call upon and demonstrated success selling in a third-party (3PL) environment.

The candidate selected will join a team of 160 employees, a fleet of 90 trucks and 185 trailers based in 8 municipalities in Quebec and Ontario.

The account manager will be expected to have experience in the following;

  • Generate sales leads by inside sales networking, cold-calling prospects and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy
  • Maintain relationships with existing clientele and build business
  • Ensure new customers and business accounts are properly handled
  • Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP-s) and requests for quotations (RFQ-s)
  • Having and maintaining carrier contacts and knowledge of operations is a strong asset
  • Candidates must have sales experience in a logistics business, be results oriented and highly organized, fluent in computer skills, a great ability to communicate and be bilingual.
